Social Care Research Workshops

There is an urgent need to expand the body of Social Care research conducted and supported in England, to meet the demands of rising social care need and the challenge of better integrating health and care.

The Clinical Research Network is seeking to expand its knowledge and network of social care researchers, practitioners, providers, commissioners and users.

We hope to engage social care researchers, providers, commissioners and the research support community to meet and build a shared understanding of the context for social care research in England.

We are holding four workshops in March aimed at Social care researchers, Social care providers, Local authorities and commissioners and the Research support community:
  • Establishing careers in Social Care research - Monday 9 March, York
  • Social Care research among adults of working age - Friday 20 March, London
  • Social Care research with homeless populations - Monday 23 March, Birmingham
  • Social Care research in childhood and adolescence - Friday 27 March, Bristol
