Job Vacancy: Senior Research Portfolio Facilitator - Bristol







The NIHR Clinical Research Network is the clinical research delivery arm of the NHS in England, tasked with supporting the rapid set-up and effective conduct of studies, so that researchers can gather the robust evidence needed to improve treatments for NHS patients. An exciting opportunity to join the CRN West of England, based at the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, has arisen where we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual as a Senior Research Portfolio Facilitator.
The post-holder will work with the Research Portfolio Facilitators, Research Delivery Managers and Workstream Leads to support delivery of the local portfolio of clinical research, by facilitating the cross-cutting functions provided by the network, as well as coordinating the identification of new research sites, improving and developing new local business processes to suit the evolving needs of the network and providing key business intelligence to enable the effective engagement of clinical research teams and the support the delivery of the NIHR CRN national objectives.
We are looking for an individual who has experience of working within a clinical research environment and knowledge of commercial research. Key to the role is working with a number of stakeholders across partner organisations, therefore effective communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
