Job Vacancy: Research Nurse / Clinical Research Practitioner - Bristol





The NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) is looking for a Research Nurse/ Clinical Research Practitioner with a passion for innovation and advancing research into new research sites.
In this exciting and varied role, you will have the opportunity to assist with the delivery of NIHR portfolio studies and to support GP practices and other primary and social care organisations to engage with and deliver research. The opportunities now exist to also deliver research in non-healthcare settings, for example, schools. The remit of the team currently includes Primary Care, Public Health, Oral & Dental studies in addition to Mental Health and Dementia studies that take place in community settings.
The remit of the NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) West of England is to drive clinical research delivery across the region and champion the role of clinical research in the NHS at every level. The CRN West of England is hosted by University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, recently awarded ‘Outstanding’ by a Quality Care Commission Inspection. The role is based in Bristol but will involve travel across the West of England and meetings in other regional hubs and nationally.
The job is fixed term until 31 March 2022
We will consider secondments, part time and full time hours
